So what's your "secret sauce?"

I was first asked this question while attending an Executive Leadership Conference years ago. At the time, I remember my mind racing as I recalled commercials and ads from one of my favorite food products that touted itself as having the "secret sauce."

"Sauce" is what makes the ordinary extraordinary. It makes the mundane magical. It's what distinguishes the average from the amazing. And somehow, on that fateful day, I was asked to consider what is my "secret sauce."

To be honest, my "sauce" is really no secret at all. It's something that lies within each of us. Simply put, "secret sauce" is the inner desire to be the best version of our selves.

Whether it's being a dependable life partner to my wife of nearly 25 years, a supportive father to my two daughters, a contributing team member on my job, or an active participant in my faith community, I strive to be the best version of me I can be. Every day, I seek to bring my best Self to the many identities I hold and the spaces I occupy.

As the founder and proprietor of the C.S. Brown Group, my goal is to help each client discover how to become their best selves in ways that are meaningful and authentic. I aid them in devising strategies for building self-confidence and for identifying realistic, attainable goals. My aim is not to give "answers" or to tell clients what to do. Instead, through intentional, goal focused sessions, my clients uncover what works for them and self-determine the most effective paths for their success.

My approach to services offered at the C.S. Brown Group not only is inspired by my personal discovery of "secret sauce" but also is informed by my academic training and professional experiences. In addition to having served in the United States Marine Corps, I hold a BA in English from Fort Valley State University, a MBA from Mercer University, and a JD from Michigan State University College of Law. I also hold certifications in Executive Coaching from Emory University, Life Coaching from Transformation Academy, and Mediation from the Justice Center of Atlanta.
